Client: Cordwainer’s Garden Community, London E3
narrative: serendipity
Commissioned by the Cordwainer’s Garden Community in East London, the Slow Shed design forms a multifunctional structure for holding workshops and exhibitions, drying plants in the drying tower, growing seedlings, making a cup of tea and storing tools.
The narrative of serendipity comes into play through the structure being built using found materials and entirely by volunteers.
